MASTOPEXY AND AUGMENTATION MASTOPEXY

Mastopexy (or breast uplift) is breast remodelling surgery that involves removing excess skin and repositioning the nipple-areola complex. Breast droop (ptosis) can result from breastfeeding, significant weight changes, gravity and natural ageing processes. Depending on the severity of the case and the technique used, the surgery may leave a number of scars, however I tend to opt for the vertical incision technique. Mastopexy can also involve breast augmentation with the insertion of implants (augmentation mastopexy). The surgery takes place under general anaesthesia.
