FACELIFT (FACE AND NECK)

A face and neck lift involves lifting and repositioning the skin of the face and neck in order to reduce any sagging, lines and furrows resulting from ageing. A face and neck lift significantly reduces the vertical lines between the nose and mouth and helps to redefine the jawline. It can be performed alone or in conjunction with other anti-ageing procedures, such as a brow lift and blepharoplasty. Anteriorly, any scars are hidden under the hair and continue in front of and behind the ear. Surgery can take place under local anaesthesia with sedation or under general anaesthetic.
